Worcester County is currently accepting Bids from qualified Vendors for the purchase of New Vehicles for Various County Departments in conformity with the specifications & other requirements contained in the Bid Documents.
Vendors are responsible for checking this website for addenda prior to submitting their bids. Worcester County is not responsible for the content of any Bid Document received through any third party bid service. It is the sole responsibility of the vendor to ensure the completeness and accuracy of their Completed Bid Documents.
After opening, the bids will be forwarded to the Public Works Department for tabulation, review and recommendation to the County Commissioners for their consideration at a future meeting. In awarding the bid, the Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids, waive formalities, informalities, and technicalities therein, and to take whatever bid they determine to be in the best interest of the County considering lowest or best bid, quality of goods and work, time of delivery or completion, responsibility of bidders being considered, previous experience of bidders with County contracts, or any other factors they deem appropriate. The last date/time to submit questions for clarification will be noon on September 15, 2026.
Sealed Bid Documents are due no later than September 22, 2026, at 1 p.m. and will be opened and read aloud in the Office of the County Commissioners, Worcester County Government Center – Room 1103, One West Market Street, Snow Hill, Maryland 21863.
Late Bid Documents cannot be accepted.
Envelopes shall be marked “Vehicle Bid” in the lower left-hand corner.
Minority vendors are encouraged to compete for award of this project.
